Great opportunity to make new friends in a relaxed setting Event Details It's that time of the year again -- the weather is getting warmer and the days are getting longer. Soon the Cherry blossoms will be in bloom all over Washington, DC and around the Tidal Basin! You are cordially invited to join us for a relaxing afternoon on the grass to share the beauty of springtime in Washington, meet other ICDC members as well as members of our partner organizations, and make new friends. ICDC is pleased to sponsor this event as a free activity for our members to meet each other in a relaxed, fun, and social setting. Last year's picnic was attended by well over 200 ICDC members and we expect this year's picnic to be very well-attended. Please RSVP online and invite your friends to RSVP online as well. Thank you for your support and cooperation! Please Bring an Entrée to share Please bring an entree sufficient for 5 people to share along with any necessary serving utensils. You are encouraged to bring an entrée from a country or region of interest to add to the culinary diversity of the picnic. On a note card, please write the name of the dish, its country or origin, along with a brief description. Please do not bring any fast-food, chips, salsa, or crackers. What Else to Bring Sunscreen, sun glasses and a picnic blanket. Any outdoor games you'd like to play: badminton, Frisbee, etc., Requested Attire Please dress according to the weather.
