Event Description

Step aboard our cruise boat for spectacular views of the July 4th fireworks & sweeping views of the magnificent DC skyline. As the Washington nightlife comes to life after the sunset, meet ICDC members and enjoy a memorable cruise aboard or casual cruise boat with panoramic views of the illuminated monuments and DC skyline at a distance. As we gently cruise past the majestic sights of DC, enjoy desserts along with wine, and drinks available for purchase at the cash bar. Watching the fireworks from the Potomac River is a magical and memorable experience!
 


We expect this cruise to be very popular. Our July 4th fireworks cruises sold out each of the last 10 years. Reserve your tickets now before we are sold out. Very few spaces remain and ticket prices are subject to increase without notice as we reach capacity for the cruise.

:::: Enjoy Delectable Desserts
As you enjoy the cruise and meet other ICDC Members enjoy desserts served aboard the boat until 8:00 PM with your choice of 2 dessert plates with two assorted dessert selections on each plate. Wine, and other drinks available for purchase at the cash bar. Please note that dinner is not served aboard the boat. Instead you will be presented with a selection of desserts. Please plan to have dinner before the cruise.

We will depart from the Georgetown Waterfront . Please refer to the end of the event description for detailed directions.

ARRIVE ON TIME: Kindly note that it is your responsibility to arrive on time at the designated meeting location. Traffic delays and road closures are possible. Please give yourself plenty of time to arrive at the meeting location. You MUST arrive on time for registration as we WILL leave at the designated time. No refunds will be offered if you are late or fail to arrive at the designated meeting location for any reason. 

WEATHER NOTICE: The cruise will proceed as planned rain or shine. The fireworks organized as a part of the annual Independence Day festivities is beyond our control. We will cruise rain or shine but we are unable to offer refunds in the unlikely event the fireworks are canceled or postponed due to any reason.

Event Agenda (May change)

7:00 PM: Please arrive for registration. 

7:05 PM: Registrations begins. You must arrive before 7:00 PM in order to board the boat.

Boarding begins and boat leaves(*) the dock after guests are on board. Desserts served until 8:00 PM.

Expect to arrive at the dock at approximately 10:00 PM.

* Please note that due to ongoing river traffic on the Potomac, other boats that use the dock, and security considerations on the dock, the time of boarding, departure, or arrival may change. Please allow plenty of time to arrive at the meeting location on time. We look forward to enjoying the views of the Potomac with you soon! Kindly note that we are unable to issue refund if you are delayed due to any reason and miss the cruise.

Kindly note that your contribution is unrelated to the embassy or venue the event is being presented at and all proceeds from the event are used solely by International Club of DC Inc. to cover expenses related to presenting cultural events to our members.

Map/Parking

At the end of 31st street NW in Georgetown by the water in Washington, DC 20007. The boat will be docked across from the Nick's Riverside Grille on the dock. Please look for a boat with a "DC Cruises" sign and allow enough time to find parking and locate the boat.

Parking is limited to street parking in the vicinity of the venue. Kindly note that, as is the case in most major cities, the availability of street parking in Washington DC is limited and beyond our control. Due to the limited availability of parking, we highly recommend a cab, Uber/Lyft or other transportation option. The event start at the designated time so please allow sufficient time for traffic/travel/transportation and parking as these factors are beyond our control.
