Celebrate the holidays with an evening of chocolate and wine! Join us for a fun-filled evening to feast on exquisite chocolate and truffles masterfully paired with cava, red, and white wine from Spain for a match made in heaven! Whether you come on your own or with friends, indulge in a delectable feast to please your palate as you share the experience with us and make new friends at our intimate chocolate studio!

Start your evening with a refreshing glass of Cava Rosé, and enjoy a flight of cava, white and red wines, while learning about how to choose your next bottle of fine wine. The “DC Wine Guys” from Tradewinds promise to show off how easy it is to understand and appreciate Spanish wine.

The evening would not be complete without the usual pairing of The Chocolate House's masterful selection of premium fine chocolates for tasting, as well as 3 world class chocolate truffles made by artisan chocolatiers. Valrhona Dulcey 32%: A unique take on white chocolate: this white chocolate is lightly caramelized to bring out notes of butterscotch and toffee.

Valrhona Bahibe Milk Chocolate 46%: A dark milk creation by French chocolate maker, Valrhona. Bahibe offers a balance between the sweetness of milk and the intensity of cocoa from Domincan Republic

Artisan du Chocolate Orange Blossom & Carnation 35%: Peppery warmth and floral notes of carnation petals mix perfectly with the slight bitterness and acidity of orange and creaminess of milk chocolate.

Askanya 60%: The first single orogin dark chocolate made in Haiti with beans from Haiti. Licorice aroma develops into a fudgy chocolate bar with notes of roasted nuts and coffee.

Valrhona Manjari 64%: Single origin chocolate made with beans from Madagascar – fresh, acidic, sharp bouquet with red fruit notes.

Al Nassma 70%: Luxurious dark chocolate from Dubai. Accented by the addition of a small amount of camel’s milk.

Felchlin Arriba 72%: Single origin swiss made chocolate from the “Nacional” variety of cacao from the Esmereldas region of Ecuador.

El Ceibo 75% Heritage Limited Edition: An elegant chocolate made with wild growing beans from the Covendo region of Bolivia. Notes of molasses, coffee, and fermented fruit.

Artisan du Chocolate 100%: An expert blend of cacao beans makes up this pure chocolate bar. No sugar or added flavors.

Please note that the wine selections are subject to change.

Rossinyol Cava Rose: A grower's rose cava made with Trepat grape using the same champenois method of elaboration. Fruity but nice small bubble and dry!

Fuenteseca Organic White: Blend of Sauvignon Blanc and Macabeo made with organically gown grapes. A nice floral nose with hints of citric notes. A dry light body white.

Mania Verdejo / Viura: 5th generation winemakers from Rueda region. Nice citrus aromas with a hint of tropical fruits. Nice acidity with a long lasting dry finish.

Fuenteseca Organic Red: Blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and a unique native grape from Valencia named Bobal. Very fruity with spicy peppery hints.

Arrayan First Wine: Blend of Syrah, Cab, Merlot and Petit Verdot. Aromas of Raspberry and Blueberry. A very nice balanced wine. Great when paired with chocolate!
