Event Description

Each year, in November; a fresh batch of Beaujolais Nouveau wine is released in France, shipped throughout the world and enjoyed by thousands! This special tradition is celebrated each year in partnership with the French-American Chamber of Commerce at the Embassy of France and is a must for party-goers who appreciate French "savoir-vivre." What better way to celebrate the end of the 2021 wine harvest than in style at the Embassy of France at DC’s only official celebration? Le Beaujolais Nouveau est arrive is organized by the French American Chamber of Commerce.

In order to limit the number of tickets available and to make your experience not only first-class but also healthy, this is a VIP exclusive event. Enjoy unlimited Beaujolais Nouveau all night long as well as excellent red, white and rose wines, Champagnes and bubblies, savor some delicious French food and listen to beautiful live music.

The Beaujolais Nouveau celebration is a French cultural "Fete" that will take place in accordance with popular French annual tradition and custom for uncorking the Beaujolais Nouveau wine. We will serve light fare from leading DC restaurants, accompanied by French breads, cheeses, pâtés and pastries. Guests will be treated to free-flowing Beaujolais Nouveau wine.

- On the menu, amongst many other delicious foods: Souries d’agneaux braisées au vin rouge, mijoté de lentilles et blé des Gaulois à la purée d’ail douce (Braised Lamb Shanks with red wine Sauce, Lentils and Farro with confit garlic purée)

Premier Cru VIP:
Enjoy the entire evening of wine, food, music and entertainment.

Grand Cru Table Service for Singles:
You will seat at a reserved table in a roped-off prime area but with up to 3 other guests, with unlimited Champagne, wine and personal service fall night. Very limited number of tables so reserve early. An opportunity to make new friends!

Château Table Service for Couples (table for 2):
You will seat at a reserved table for just you two, in a roped-off prime area, with unlimited Champagne, wine and personal service all night. Very limited number of tables so reserve early.

Chateau Table Service for up to 4:
You will seat at a reserved table with up to 3 of your friends, in a roped-off prime area with unlimited Champagne, wine and personal service all night. Very limited number of tables so reserve early.

Please note that in order to ensure the safety of the event for all, the program has been especially tailored to ensure everyone not only has an enjoyable time during the evening, but also a safe time. We are also limiting the number of tickets sold to 200. They will go fast so register early.

Due to security considerations at the embassy, we are unable to accept walk-ins. You must reserve a ticket in advance to attend this event. Absolutely no door sales. Admission commences at 7:00 PM.

Map/Parking

If driving, street parking will be available on Reservoir Road and throughout the surrounding neighborhoods. Also, there is a pay lot located across the street at Georgetown University Hospital. Due to security considerations, parking WILL NOT be available on the grounds of the Embassy of France.

If using public transportation, the D6 Metro Bus towards Sibley Hospital drops off directly in front of the embassy. Due to limited parking, we recommend Uber, public transportation or a cab.

Parking is limited to street parking in the vicinity of the venue. Kindly note that, as is the case in most major cities, the availability of street parking in Washington DC is limited and beyond our control. Due to the limited availability of parking, we highly recommend a cab, Uber/Lyft or other transportation option. The event start at the designated time so please allow sufficient time for traffic/travel/transportation and parking as these factors are beyond our control.
