The Embassy of Venezuela is presenting, free of charge, a delightful concert featuring the "Simon Bolivar Bing Band Jazz" orchestra and you are invited to experience a thrilling performance. The Simon Bolivar Big Band Jazz was created in November 2007 by Valdemar Rodriguez, conductor of the Simon Bolivar Conservatory of Music, and the recognized Venezuelan drummer Andres Briceno to promote and spread jazz in Venezuela.

The band is comprised of 40 Venezuelan musicians from the Simon Bolivar Conservatory, which is part of the National System of Youth and Children Orchestras of Venezuela, also known as “El Sistema,” a program that has transformed the lives of thousands of Venezuelan young people through music.

Tickets are free and may be retrieved at the theatre entrance the very same day starting at 6 PM. To attend the event please RSVP to: [email protected] and [email protected]
