Event Description

Join us on your own or with friends for our international networking reception with English, French, Spanish, Italian, and German language discussions at the sophisticated bar of The Dupont Circle Hoteljust steps from DuPont Circle and Metro on the Red Line. The elegant and modern atmosphere of The Dupont Circle Hotelsets the stage for an evening of networking and socializing as you make new friends from around the world with the option of conversing in English or practicing a foreign language.

Important: When you arrive, please proceed to the registration desk at the bar to pick up your name tag so you can identify other International Club of DC guests taking part in the event. We will have stickers for France, Italy, German, and Spain that you can affix to your name tag based on the languages you speak. If you only speak English, that is perfectly fine as each name tag will have a flag affixed by default to denote that you speak English :)

As you enjoy your evening, enjoy handcrafted specialty cocktails available for purchase as you make new friends. Our networking receptions are quite popular and sell out as space is limited. All attendees, including guests of attendees, must purchase a ticket in advance on the ICDC Web site to attend due to limited space. Tickets are only $8 if purchased online in advance and $12 at the entrance, pending space availability.

Our international networking receptions present a great opportunity to meet, network and socialize with other internationally minded professionals in town. If you are new to our organization or Washington DC this is a great opportunity to meet other like minded professionals in a friendly and relaxed setting.

The Dupont Circle Hotel is conveniently located at DuPont Circle just a block from Metro. Limited valet parking is also available.

Please enter through the 19th Street NW entrance and proceed to the hotel bar. Once at the bar, locate the registration desk to pick up your name tag.

Parking is limited to street parking in the vicinity of the venue. Kindly note that, as is the case in most major cities, the availability of street parking in Washington DC is limited and beyond our control. Due to the limited availability of parking, we highly recommend a cab, Uber/Lyft or other transportation option. The event start at the designated time so please allow sufficient time for traffic/travel/transportation and parking as these factors are beyond our control.
