Event Description

You are invited to join us for a relaxing hiking trip to Rock Creek Park! For Washingtonians who love the outdoors, Rock Creek Park offers numerous trails to help escape the urban life. Discover trees and wild-life wake up from their winter slumber and explore one of Washington’s hidden treasures and an oasis of nature. You will also have the opportunity to meet other outdoor enthusiasts! We will hike a trail that offers a glimpse of different streams as well as hill top views of Rock Creek Park! The 4-mile hike has a several steep hills but is relatively flat on other areas. 

Please make sure you are in adequate physically condition to take part in this event. Be prepared to hike around rocks and cliffs!

We will meet and carpool from the intersection of Brandywine Street NW and 40th Street NW. The intersection is 2 blocks from the Tenleytown Metro on the Red Line.

Parking is limited to street parking in the vicinity of the venue. Kindly note that, as is the case in most major cities, the availability of street parking in Washington DC is limited and beyond our control. Due to the limited availability of parking, we highly recommend a cab, Uber/Lyft or other transportation option. The event start at the designated time so please allow sufficient time for traffic/travel/transportation and parking as these factors are beyond our control.
