An Evening in Havana: Salsa and Merengue Lessons followed by Latin Dance Party
Join us on your own or with friends to enjoy an evening in Havana with a Latin Dance Soiree including salsa and merengue lessons at the candle-lit 18th Street Lounge. Attend on your own or with friends. Prior dance experience not needed to attend, as we'll have you dancing in no time!

Event Description

Join us at the candle lit 18th Street Lounge for a delightful evening of music and dance!  Attend on your own or with friends. Learn to dance the salsa and merengue and enjoy an evening of dancing as you meet other ICDC members in attendance.

We’ll have you dancing the salsa and merengue, even if you have never danced before. The lessons will be taught by our expert instructor. Reserve your tickets soon, as space is limited. Attendees must be 21 and over.

Event Agenda (May change)

7:00 PM Check in starts (Attendees must be 21 and over.).
Please arrive early to meet and socialize with other attendees over your favorite cocktail.

7:15 PM Salsa and Merengue dance lessons.
No dance partner is needed, as we will rotate partners during the lesson.

8:15 PM Dance party continues with dancing to Salsa, merengue, and other Latin music.

Please note that 18th Street Lounge may charge a cover-charge for guests entering after 8:30 PM. Please be sure to arrive prior to 8:30 PM so you can join us to enjoy an evening of dancing.

Parking is limited to street parking in the vicinity of the venue. Kindly note that, as is the case in most major cities, the availability of street parking in Washington DC is limited and beyond our control. Due to the limited availability of parking, we highly recommend a cab, Uber/Lyft or other transportation option. The event start at the designated time so please allow sufficient time for traffic/travel/transportation and parking as these factors are beyond our control.
